Jerry Yang who ruled and lead 2007 year’s final of World Series of Poker won $8.25 million in cash and also the top 2007 bracelet. The event held in Vegas and the final table was decided at hand 205, and Jerry was able to dismiss all but 1 final contestant. Though, it was a tight contest against Yang by his opponent Tuan Lam who played very well over the last 15 hands. Tuan Lam was able to double the chip leader and won three times in a line at one point of time. But Yang was able to get back all the chips lost when they begun with heads up play.
Yang was able to get hands on win for 21 hands of heads up play out of 31 hands and reaping 88 pots in total. Yang was able to set a new record in the main event at the mark of 3:51 am of holding $106.775 million chips against Lam’s $20.8 million.
The outcome came at the 205th after the exchange which was very exciting and Yang received all the cards needed to eliminate his opponent and win the bracelet with a watch and the 8.25 million dollars cash prize with nine high straight.
Lam was able to get the second placing paycheck of 4840981 dollars with his hard try and also he gained a respect for bravely fighting for the competition.
