Underground Atlanta’s Operators casino

On Thursday, Robb Pitts, Fulton County Commissioner, confronted the Georgia Lottery Board in a meeting in the casino talk, to vote for Underground Atlanta’s operators offer to construct a casino which would finance lottery programs.
“My appeal to you is to act,” Pitts told the seven-member lottery Board. “The worst thing you could do is doing nothing.” The offer of constructing a $450 million casino and entertainment destination at Underground would make sure the future of the lottery-funded HOPE scholarship program and also to assist to tourism the state’s second largest industry in the city.
Dan O’Leary, Underground’s operator and lease holder and his business partner John Aderhold were called for “video lottery terminals,” or games which operated by the lottery and same like slot machines.
This type of casino can be approved by the lottery board without any requirement of OKs from the state Legislature, governor or city.
