Once again the smoking is permitted in the 11 casinos of Atlantic City. In April, a total ban over smoking was passed by the City Council before the financial fall down stunned the economy and led to even steeper decline of the fortunes of casinos.

At the last moment the Council has altered its mind and agreed to cancel the ban over smoking for at least a year. It is still helpless to stop the no-smoking convention which is from taking effect on Oct. 15. The ban expired a minute after midnight on Sunday.

Mark Juliano Trump, Entertainment Resorts CEO commented said, “At least now there’s an even playing field with out-of-state slot parlors.”
