Seeking Extension–Kansas Board

Topeka, Kansas- The executive director of Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission is planning to ask some more time for the complete verification and background checks of the companies, which are chosen to manage the four state-owned and operated casinos as reported by the Fort Mill Times.
After the selection of the seven members, Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board last year the expanded gambling law has given the commission 10 days for this background investigation.
However, Steve Martino, the Executive Director Steve Martino said that they would seek the extension of 60 days by the Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
