Lawsuit against casino measure rejects by Missouri judge

By a Fort Mill times report, a lawsuit looking for stripping a proposal to amend Missouri’s casino laws from the Nov. 4, the ballot was rejected by a state judge on Monday 21 October, 2008. The evaluation would cancel Missouri’s unique law limiting gambling losses to $500 per two-hour period; restrict the licensing of new casinos; and increase taxes on existing casinos to direct more money to public education.
