The next EU member State to adopt the online gambling and casino gambling regulations is expected to be Ireland. Dermot Ahern, who is the Ireland’s Minister of Justice informed to the Irish Times when the cross party agreement is reached.
The 1956 Gaming and Lotteries Act are considered to be outdated by most of the parties. It can be explained in other words as the right time to change all the protocols which regulate the gambling whether the land based casino or the online gambling to be changed.
Casinos are considered to be illegal as per the 1956 gaming and Lotteries Act as it is now ‘Public’. And this may give the anti gambling proponents a chance to banish these clubs and in order to make this establishment regulated to both government and operators some very effective solution needs to be introduced.
