Hard times are continuing for Nevada’s casinos

According to a Las Vegas state report, hard times are continuing for Nevada’s casinos as compared to the year 2007. In the month of August gambling growth was losing for a record eighth straight.
The casinos in the state won $934 millions in August, in a report released by The Nevada Gaming Control Board on Thursday, which is compared to just more than $1 billion; the same month one year ago that’s a statewide turn down of 8.1 percent on revenues of $759 millions declined 9.4 percent in August.
It has reported by the state that Las Vegas 7.4 percent less than August 2007 or won $494 million.
