The Meadows Racetrack & Casino plans to offer electronic table games at its $175 million permanent casino and is scheduled to open in April.
This April, Meadows Racetrack & Casino plan to introduce some electronic table games at its $175 million permanent casino. These games permit 60 plus people to play blackjack and three-card poker. In Pennsylvania table games which include a human dealer are banned.
However, the electronic games meet the legal definition of slot machines and can be set up in casinos in accordance with the State Gaming Control Board, although some lawmakers question that decision.
Mary DiGiacomo Colins, Board Chairwoman said that he thought it was a controversial matter, which is not an easy call. Today, he was witness to a state Senate budget committee meeting and shielded the decision to permit the game.
