NEW BEDFORD, Massachusetts- According to the new poll released by the UMass-Dartmouth Center for Policy and Analysis the residents of Bedford are the strong supporters of hosting a casino in Whaling City.

In the poll when people where asked about the casino around 53% of them agreed that they are in favor of having the casino in New Bedford whereas 20% were opposing this and 20% were undecided.

This issue of having the casino in Massachusetts for first broached in the year 1995, since then the residents are willing to host the casino resort and it has been in debate for almost 13 years.
