Arizona Casino Revenue in Tumbles

During the forth quarter, revenue plunged of 22 Indian casinos at Arizona and Due to the worsening recession the gamblers are going away form the tribes’ gaming tables and slot machines.
The casino has notices the casino revenues was down by 16 percent which is based on fees paid to the state, which was also measured as one of the major quarterly plunge from the time when Arizona Indian gaming was legally recognized in 1993.
Executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association, Sheila Morago, “People are saving their money”. On a quarterly basis the data casino revenue is not broken. Near Tucson, Desert Diamond Casino operated by the Tohono O’odham Nation has also cut back on hiring but has not cut off any employees.
Chief executive of Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprises, Scott Sirois said that they are down some and they need their wages and salaries to track with their revenue. The state’s budget woes and cutting is being added by the shortfall into the casino revenues supported state programs.
